Lincoln Institute of Land Policy
The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy is a think tank that was founded to promote the economic ideas of Henry George known as land value tax and Georgism, but the foundation now focuses more generally on the use, taxation, and regulation of land.
Founded in 1974, the institute conducts research and policy evaluations, holds conferences, provides education and training, supports demonstration projects, and publishes books and reports on policy issues relating to land.
Its mission is to improve the quality of public debate about land by integrating theory and practice, and by providing a nonpartisan forum for the discussion of related issues.
