UN Habitat to host dialogue on youth responsive land governance
New York: UN-Habitat and the Global Land Tool Network are set to facilitate a dialogue that will look at the land challenge through a youth lens.
The dialogue scheduled 16 September, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York which features speakers from Yemen, Brazil, Zimbabwe and Nepal, will present the current challenges and youth-led action research as part of a youth-responsive land tools process.
Today, more than 1.2 billion youth live worldwide, many of whose needs are not met by conventional land systems. UN-Habitat and the Global Land Tool Network are at the fore front developing land interventions and strengthening the capacity of countries and communities to implement youth-responsive land reforms.
