GLTN takes its place at the World Bank Conference
The just concluded Annual World Bank Conference on Land and Poverty which upheld the theme Moving Towards Transparent Land Governance: Evidence Based Solutions featured The Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) authored papers and booth. The aim of the booth was to allow global land actors in attendance an opportunity to interact with the Secretariat and Network resources.
GLTN, an active partner in the Annual World Bank Conference, had its secretariat submit papers on a variety of subjects around the theme of the meeting that took place between 8-11 April in Washington, USA. Clarissa Augustinus of the GLTN secretariat also delivered a message during the conference and termed the Network's participation as a great success.
The Conference preceded The 24th Session of the Governing Council of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) which takes place from 15 to 19 April 2013 at the UN-Habitat headquarters in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya.
