The program “Strengthening Advisory Capacities for Land Governance in Africa (SLGA)” is a GIZ program that aims to enhance land expertise in Africa through the establishment and coordination of the Network of Excellence on Land Governance in Africa (NELGA). The Department of Land and Spatial Sciences at the Namibia University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) coordinates this network in Southern Africa.
In collaboration with the Global Land Tool Network (GLTN), NELGA and the GIZ-SLGA program, NUST are planning to develop a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) titled “Introduction to Responsible Land Administration”. The MOOC aims to increase NELGA’s reach and diversify its audience by adapting the introductory module of the GLTN’s Teaching Essentials for Responsible Land Administration.
GIZ has advertised for bids for a suitable contractor to deliver the assignment to create the MOOC “Introduction of Responsible Land Administration”.
The deadline for receipt of requests to participate is 23rd April 2024.
