Rural Housing Scotland is partnering with UN-Habitat, Ecology Building Society and partners across the UK, Ireland and beyond to organize the Rural Housing Summit, an online event that will run from 21st to 27th February 2021. The Summit will be structured around a mix of panel discussions, interactive workshops, webinars and one-to-one sessions and will be complemented by the publication of resources and re-recorded content across the seven days.

The World Bank Land Conference 2024

The World Bank Land Conference will be taking place 13-17 May 2024 at the World Bank headquarters in Washington DC after a hiatus.

The GLTN will be supporting several sessions throughout the conference covering various topics such as land administration, tenure and crisis, urbanization, climate and disasters and women’s rights. More information.

The main objective of the event is to build knowledge and capacity in the Asian region to address climate change and disaster-induced challenges in safeguarding land rights of vulnerable communities, emphasizing the critical role of land governance and disaster resilience.

The second objective is to foster collaborative partnerships among national and regional institutions, academics, and professionals from various organisations, including non-state actors, Non-Government Organisation (NGOs) and private sector, to facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogues, knowledge sharing and technology transfer at the regional level.
